HISTORY
Ashland Senior High School was originally established in 1890, with its first graduating class of three students in 1891. The Alumni Association was founded in 1894. In 1903, there was no graduating class due to the introduction of a fourth year of study. The old Washington High School once stood on the site where Briscoe Elementary—now closed—was built in 1949. The current high school campus opened on November 14, 1911, though little remains of the original structure due to ongoing modernization efforts. In the fall of 2012, AHS began welcoming a limited number of students from across Oregon. Today, the school is recognized for its strong academic performance both statewide and nationally.
Let’s change lives together! A contribution to our scholarship fund can help a student achieve their academic dreams. Every dollar counts—will you help?"
